Quick Make-Up Fixes:

1. Dip a cotton swab into eye make-up remover and trace it along your lids to erase any slip ups whaen there is not time to redo make-up.

2. The best way to hide a pimple is to use a stick foundation or cover-up that matches your skin exactly. Use your fingers or a small brush to apply the foundation directly on the blemish and then pat gently to blend.

2. Wearing to much mascara can actually make you look older!

Make Up Clean UP!
  • Replace foundation at least every 2 years. If the pigment starts to change or it becomes thick and clumpy, throw out sooner.
  • Keep lipstick for 1 to 2 years.
  • Mascara should be replaced every 3 months. The risk of bacteria growth and eye infections is higher if not replaced often.
  • Eyeshadow should be replaced every 2 years. If it starts to develop an odor, color or texture change, discard it sooner.
  • Mousturizers can be kept for up to months to a year. Discard them sooner if you start to smell any foul odor or texture begins to change.

The Hot Spot!
You might think that tube of lip color is just divine, but there may be more to your makeup than meets the eye. Cosmetics, as well as applicators like sponges and brushes, typically harbor tons of bacteria, which could lead to eye and skin infections.

The Solution-

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends replacing powders and eyeshadows every two years. Foundation and lipstick every year, mascara every three months and applicators should be washed regularly.
